Why this bag?
In the image you see my old leather bag, a handcrafted bag my wife gave me seven years ago and that I’ve been using almost daily ever since: travel, work, meetings, everything.
Over time it has developed a deep patina and a commanding presence. It hasn’t deteriorated: it has transformed.
It’s a very personal object, tied to my daily life for years. And the more I’ve used it, the more meaningful it has become.
So, why make another one?
Because after living with it for so long, I was very clear about what needed improvement and what should not be touched.
I’m working on an improved reinterpretation of the bag: the same philosophy, better materials, and a higher level of execution.
The project is well advanced and the first prototypes already exist. It will be a slow process. I’ll be sharing updates on my YouTube channel and here, on this same page.

What will it be like?
The leather
I have personally selected each hide. It is full-grain bovine leather, grade A, of French origin, with 100% vegetable tanning using natural tannins and pure aniline dyeing, with no pigments, no plastic coatings, and no mechanical corrections.
What you see and what you touch is the leather as it truly is. Nothing in between.
It is one of the highest-quality leathers available. Structurally solid, alive, full of character, and designed to last for decades.
Why isn’t it common? Because it isn’t uniform, it isn’t perfect, and it isn’t easy to work with. It is scarce, expensive, and completely incompatible with mass production.
From day one it shows marks inherent to the hide and the assembly. And that is precisely the key to its appeal.
How it ages
With use, the color gains depth and the leather develops a natural patina that is impossible to replicate. It becomes more flexible without losing structure and begins to reflect contact with the hand, the environment, movement, and the passage of time. Over the years, it becomes a reflection of the person who has used it.
That is the goal.
